Being built now
Things you should see on screen before long.
Revenue by segment
This shows how much of a company’s revenue comes from each line of business. We only publish it when the segments add up to the total revenue the company reported — when they don’t, we leave it blank rather than guess. That’s why it currently appears for some tickers only, and we’re steadily adding more.
Changes in risk factors
Companies list their risk factors in the annual report. We point out which ones were added and which were dropped since last time. It shows up for some tickers today, and we’re working through the rest.
Alert emails
Alerts for metric conditions, financial changes, institutional holdings and new filings already go out by email and push. What we’re working on is what’s inside them — so the email itself tells you which number moved and from what to what, and so the same news doesn’t arrive twice.

Mobile app
We’re looking at whether we can ship an app focused on reading and alerts. The deeper analysis would stay on the web, as it is now.
Institutional holdings over time
We want to show which way institutions moved on a stock, quarter by quarter. Today you can see how many funds opened or trimmed a position this quarter — the plan is to string those quarters together, so you can see whether the count is climbing or falling.
These filings come out once a quarter, and older ones get harder to pull from the source over time. So we archive each quarter as it lands, and this view opens once enough of them have stacked up.
Not building
With the reasons, so you’re not waiting on any of it.
No ads
There are no ads, even on the free tier. Once ads are in, what gets shown first on a screen starts being decided by what pays — and we’d rather that stay our call.
No buy or sell calls
We don’t issue price targets or buy/sell opinions. People read the same numbers differently, and the outcome is yours to carry. What we will do is be explicit about where each number came from and what it measures.
No real-time quotes
Quotes here are delayed by 15 minutes. If you need them by the second, your brokerage app is the better tool. What you come here for — filings, institutional holdings, financials — moves by the quarter or the year, so 15 minutes doesn’t change the picture.
No exports or share cards
Price data isn’t ours to hand out as a file — we license it rather than produce it. We don’t build share cards either: once a number travels as an image, the date and the basis it was calculated on don’t travel with it.
